Happy Monday

Yesterday was bridge once more. There were only two tables playing so we divided into 2 teams, playing 10 boards, then moving to play the next 10 boards against the other half of the opposition.

We won!

I was playing with the same man I played with last week, and I felt more comfortable in that we were getting to know each other's style and how to interpret each other's bids. (Some people are rasher and some are timid; I am trying to move on from timidity to confidence).

I was back too late for tea with the scrabble crowd, so returned home and prepared the evening meal - cauliflower cheese - perfectly straightforward an not worthy of a post on my recipe blog.
