I got up this morning realising that I had had the best sleep since I don’t know when (about 12 hours!)
So I got up, showered and dressed and made a cup of tea, then I came through to do my “work”, i.e. read my list of blogs.
Half way through I went back and made myself toast with daughter’s lovely raspberry jam, and had another cup of tea.
In spite of that I have been feeling a bit “headachy”, but I think it is the humidity. The temperature is into the 20s.
Off to the bridge club, when I played with someone different, and had a most enjoyable afternoon.
When I came back, the Scrabble ladies had seen my car arrive and had my tea all ready.
Can’t beat that, can you?

Tiredness
After the plant sales, the planting and the general tidying up and catching up with my blog favourites, I prepared the potatoes for my evening meal and covered them with water.
I then poured myself a glass of Noilly Prat and sat down with a sigh of relief.
Then I realised that, if I sat there for another moment, I would fall asleep.
Then I decided I did not fancy the Noilly and poured it back into the bottle (this is serious stuff, you know)!
Then I gave in and went to bed at 6.30 pm.......
....... and slept the clock round.
I feel refreshed now after my shower, so I think that normal service has been resumed.

Sleeeep!
This morning I almost slept in for Church. We have two services , one at 9.30 and one at 11 am, and I go to the 11 am one. I wakened up after 9.30, and had a shower, and by the time I was due to leave my hair was still wet (that was how I managed the earlier post - I was waiting for my hair to dry!) Managed to pull myself together and do the best I could with my hair - the rest of the time constraint is due to the time it takes me to get dressed.
Glad I made it. Today was the last of the series of sermons on hymns from CH3. Today we sang many old favourites. Next week we are to hear the start of a series on the Sermon on the Mount and have been given "homework" from the gospel according to Saint Matthew.
