Dear TBSITW - thank you for taking the trouble to tell us how Elaine is progressing. I'd like to send her something to cheer her up but it's not easy to work out exactly what. Maybe she'd be interested to hear a little story. My niece visited me on Saturday and asked me to send her messages using Moshi Monsters. So I decided to give it a try. It's designed for kids - but why should kids have all the fun? You do puzzles to earn cash to buy your monster food and treats and, guess what, the puzzles are every bit as good as the sort of brain teasers I've seen for the elderly to keep their brains active. So I'm now quite a fan! It costs nothing and as far as I can see does nobody any harm providing you don't pretend to be anything you aren't. When you sign up they ask your age and providing yo don't pretend to be a child I can't see any harm in it. I wonder how many middle aged members they have so far!
Glad she's doing well - here's hoping for a swift recovery.
