So, here I am with my new laptop and logged on to the Internet, albeit with a dial up connection - for the meantime...
These computers get bossier by the minute, I have a trial of so many log ins to MS office, but have bought it from the same place as I bought this (ebuyers) at about a third of the price. It is coming on Wednesday, but only because I shall be out on Tuesday.
There is a tremendous jumble of hardware, peripherals and cables lying around. I shall tidy as much as I can, because that is just what I don't want when in danger of tripping,

Please do not go down on your hands and knees to tidy away cables etc. Thererin lie greater hazards. If you need help, I can be bribed or bought.
congrats on the new computer. those darn cords snake around your ankles when you're not looking and can be so dangerous. be safe! enjoy the wonders of your new computer.

Just name your price! i need to untangle the cables then reconnect the computer briefly to erase some of the files before it goes to daughter. Silly me, in my eagerness to get started I forgot that this is the first stage!
