I went to the Bridge Club on Monday afternoon, where I was delighted to discover that my partner and I had come first in the last game before Christmas. I also came 5th (out of ten) at the Christmas Hat night.
I don't know if there was any connection, but that evening I turned to put a bowl in the fridge,
when SPLAT! I landed on my buttocks
