and I should emphasise that this is the 4th attempt to get this post on the go! First thing, I got up at 11pm yesterday, showered washed my hair and dressed then realised I was 12 hours in advance. ok, went back to bed under the blanket and slept sound till (real) morning. Had another shower and got dressed. No signs of an appetite yet, but decided to join the ladies waiting for the fish van. Well the cup of tea not to forget the christmas cake , and of course the chat did me a power of good.
Still felt weak and wobbly, but the conversation flowed. Went home and then sat around brain dead.
Shortly after arrived the Best Sister in the World who sorted out my fridge removing things past their best or sell by date scrubbing three dirty carrots and removed the softer pieces. After that, she made and served up my evening meal of haddock poached in milk, new potatoes, carrot sices, Brussels Sprouts.
Just to put the icing on the cake, she bagged up my laundry and took it away.
You don't need to tell me I'm spoiled; I know
