Elder son went skiing at Glenshee (Scotland) on Saturday, and since then I have heard nothing.
I am wondering if I should send out the mythical St Bernard dog with the barrel of brandy round its neck to seek him.
Seriously though...
Yesterday saw me back at the Bridge Club, where I thoroughly enjoyed my game. The company and the stimulus are just so good for me - not to mention keeping these little grey cells active for as long as I can.
Came back and joined the Scrabble group for a cup of tea. One of the group used to be an electrician in his earlier life, so I asked him if he would have a look at a light bulb which had partially shattered of its own accord. Very carefully, he managed to get a hold on enough of the bulb to unscrew it. He then put a new bulb in in its place.

I'll take the brandy (Remy please!), skip the St Bernard - one mad dog is enough for me!
Glenshee was great, apart from a fall which has bruised/cracked a rib...
Doing fine, working hard, looking forward to visiting you NEXT Monday (think this might have confused you earlier).
To Elder Son
Glad you are ok but sorry about the sore rib. Yes, I was confused about the date, but you are now in my diary for NEXT Monday
