A Pink Day

I forgot to mention that when visiting daughter she showed me a photograph of her elder son taken on his "Pink Day" at school. I am not sure if it was for only the sixteen year olds or for the whole school, but many were rather disappointing in turning up with perhaps one small pink item.

My grandson, on the other hand, did the job properly.

He borrowed a pair of pink trousers from M's daughter, a pink top from his mother, and even wore trainers with a pink stripe on them. I think there might have been more but my memory is not what it was.

I am proud of my grandson.
