The Scooter!

Today my scooter arrived after what seems like an age but is in fact much sooner than I expected.

First of all another demo and the answering of many questions, then another supervised short drive (glad of his support).

Then I was on my own.

So, off up the town to Marks and Spencer.

Seeing the Big Issue seller held the door to the shopping centre, I felt honour bound to buy one.

Then off to the other end of the centre to see what Somerfields was like before I went back to Marks and Spencer where I had lunch and bought some socks and a new shirt.

After that to WH Smith for a New Home card for brother's son. Of course, with Easter and Mothers' Day, there were none, but found a pretty picture of a house standing in a field of lavender.

Before returning home I went to the Church to check on the way round the back (nae probs.) and timed the journey home to know when I need to leave tomorrow.

Then back home and drove into my sitting room.

Decided I wanted to be facing out the way.

This involved quite a bit of (manual) manoeuvrings, but made it in the end.

Phew!

Thanks for all the comments.

~The self closing doors (I Presume you mean lifts, aka elevators) have sensors and don't close when you are in the way.

Besides, I can get in pretty niftily.

Actually I meant the likes of the front doors to your place of residence.

It is a mini scooter which can be taken apart to put in the boot of a car. It is mostly black with blue trim. Makes aa change from the perpetual red.
