Exercise

Well, this morning I went to my exercise class, with my quads feeling somewhat sore. Someone else chose the bike for her first exercise, and it so happened that I didn't come to it until near the end.

Well!

I didn't try to increase the resistance or the time (and I have been cycling at the same rate for some time now).

After I had finished (and it was a real struggle to make 5 minutes), I went and sat down, then sat looking somewhat of a collapsed person. I was given a drink of water which helped and took the last two easy exercises to finish.

We then had a very good talk about different treatments, and we had all been asked to bring our own inhalers along.

Well, little miss know-it-all here learned quite a few new things.

So off to the garage with the car then off on foot to the garden centre. It is no distance at all by car, but on foot it almost beat me. Still, I enjoyed the tea and scone, then staggered back to the garage for a further half hour wait. Glad that's done for another year.

Back to the ranch just in time for a cup of tea and to pay the milk bill.

Now it is "Collapse of Stout Party"

If I said I did 1,200 miles between mid-August and end-October (before going to Israel), would that sound like boasting?

Cycling is the best exercise there is. For me, it was the no-diet diet, with significant weightloss while enjoying as much food as I like (lots!). It's also low impact (not like jogging) and you can measure visible progress much more easily than walking / running.

Role on the good weather, and the two wheels will come out for the early mornings again...

Meanwhile, a bit of cold might just mean the stupidest exercise of skiing is a possibility for next weekend. Love it!
