Do you think it undoes all the good the exercise has done if you sit down, cool off then pour a gin and tonic?

Gosh, no!

Gin is made from sloe berries, that's good fruit. Alcohol has carbohydrate and we also know those drinking a little have lower morbidity/mortality than those not drinking at all.

A slice of lime for extra vitamins and, why, it's practically a medicinal "tonic"!

Declaration of Interest : It's my favourite typical tipple :-)

Certainly not! In fact I am certain that the consumption of alchohol enhances the benefits gained from exercise. It definitely makes you feel better!
