Aaaaaargh!

I had been somewhat concerned about the non-arrival of my made to measure elastic stockings (in a snazzy black). I was measured for them on 27 November, aand was told they would take 2 or 3 days to come in at which point they would be delivered.

So this afternoon I phoned to enquire if they had arrived (tactful as ever). After a long silence, they asked me did I know what size they were.

No.

Was I sure that I had been measured?

Yes.

Fortunately, the person who measured me was there and remembered.

So now I have to ask someone here to measure my leg so that I can phone the measurement back to them tomorrow at which time they should have them by Mondaay or Tuesday.
