Best Brother Visits

Today Best Brother and his wife visited at lunchtime. Sister-in-law and I did our usual exchange of books; she was saying that she hardly had time to read anything as she tried to keep up with the books I had passed to her and I said that the same applied to me.

They brought, as requested, some bread - a nice olive loaf from Tesco.

We started with a large glass of water (no ice, no lemon) for BB and Cava for we two others.

Lunch was rib sticking chicken soup with aforementioned bread, and pudding was some of the lovely Bramley apples which I had cooked, served with sliced strawberries and some cream.

After that they headed on their way to another engagement. It is always good to see them, and I do not see sister-in-law nearly often enough.
