Do I Qualify for Idiot of the Month Award?

Yesterday morning I had a numb forefinger and thought it might have been the cold, so I took a handwarmer to Church to see if that would help. It did not. And it did not get better as the day went on. This morning, not only was the tip of my finger numb, but so was the lateral side of it. Because I have bad circulation I was somewhat concerned, so after a while I phoned the GP surgery asking to speak with the Nurse Practitioner or one of the GPs. It was arranged for a GP to call me back this afternoon.

I then resumed reading my newspaper on line, and having finished I started a game of Sudoku on line.

Then the penny dropped.

For this game, when you want to "pencil in" a number, you have to hold down the Alt key and consequently this is pressed for quite a lot of the time. I played two games yesterday, and this was the second game today (no comments along the lines of "get a life", please.)

Ah, you're ahead of me here.........

So somewhat shamefacedly I called the surgery back to cancel this afternoon's call.

Oops.

I shall have to wean myself off this game, or alternate the fingers I use to hold down the Alt key.
