A quick post to let my loyal reader know that I am still alive even though I still feel as though I have been run over by a truck.
This morning, good friend ,M (who lives here too), popped by for a cup of coffee, and this afternoon we got together over a gin and tonic with ice and a slice of lemon (I keep slices of lemon, separated with layering film, frozen in the freezer)
Today the painter came to gloss the front door of my flat, so I had to stay in with the door open for a good six hours. Nice and clean, but the colour scheme is a bit boring....
a . has tagged me in relation to my opinion of books divided into categories. I am working on doing this, but it is taking rather more time and thought than I expected, so watch this space, but don't hold your breath.

When you mentioned books divided into categories, I thought you meant how you put them on bookshelves! My mum and I always discuss who would be pleased sitting next to who.
We had a man come and fiddle about with something in the loft and, of course, he managed to throw everything around in the process including all of my books (who sadly have to live in the loft until I can have a house and repossess them - boo hoo). I found Jordan's autobiography (yes, I know, but it was fun) on top of Arthur Miller. At first I thought this was sacrilige, then remembered the Marilyn Monroe episode and thought he wouldn't object too much...
Please don't feel under any pressure Elaine. I found it fun but, yes, it took me longer than expected. I hope you feel better soon.

To a. No pressure, great fun and got 2 ideas for christmas presents.
Still sore, and feel that I am more vulnerable when turning counter-clockwise as it is my left foot that tends to turn out. However nothing that time won't heal.
