After seeing my GP on Friday and feeling a bit better over the weekend, I had hoped to get to the bridge club this afternoon.
So I got dressed in a pretty jumper (slowly of course) - and all the other necesseties.
Then I tried to walk to the front door of the block of flats, but didn't make it without falling over. Right, that settles it, I shall have to do what I am told and see my GP tomorrow.GP,
Yesterday, S. paid a visit with her (large and growing!)puppy. It was so good to see see both of them.

Hi Elaine-I am sorry that you have been under the weather a bit and do hope you rally back soon.
I was reading some of your other posts and I think it is so nice that you have veggies, fruit and milk delivered and your doc makes house calls. I haven't seen that since I was a kid and I am 52.
Gounds like a nice visit you had with your daughter and that soup sounds scrumptious. I have to say you all make such good recipes over their. I just want a pot of authentic British tea with some biscuits!
I have an original Robert Burns book that belonged to my grandparents. I don't recall if I ever told you that my maternal grandparents were born in Scotland. Well, when I was a wee bonnie lassie...to quote them, my grandfather used to speak to me in Gaelic sometimes.
My grandmother made the best apple pie (not too sweet) and the best steak pie. I could go for some crust and gravy right now!
So the veggie man? easy on the eyes/ ;)
To Seaspray errm, re veggie man, probably a bit yourn (or rather, I'm probably a bit old, although he certainly has a twinkle in his eye!
It never hurts to be appreciative1 ;)
