Organic Vegetables

Expecting the delivery to be made some time after 8am, I set my alarm last night to go off at 7.15 this morning. For once I wakened before that and was up, showered and dressed by 7.15am

Just as well.

The delivery arrived shortly before 7.30!!!

So, I got it all unpacked and put away into a clean fridge drawer, the fridge or a fruit bowl.

I had potatoes, about 8 large carrots, onions and 2 turnips (Swedes), along with a large bag of beetroot, a huge bag of purple sprouting broccoli and 3 leeks. The fruit this time was 2 oranges, 2 apples, 2 kiwi fruit, and a banana. Also of course arrived the usual 6 eggs.

So here I am at 7.55 am with all that dealt with and back at the computer.

Off to the physiotherapy class at 9.30.

That was something of an anti-social hour for any delivery person to arrive. I hope you were first on their rounds! Enjoy the physio session.

Just one single banana? the mind boggles as to what best to do with it to make it last the week. So go one, what do you do with just one banana?

Well, thanks for that comment. I was feeling "All Shook Up" after yesterday's contretemps with the car, and you managed to make me laught out loud.

Of course, what I do iss make banana sandwiches for lunch.

Which reminds me, must go and make some more bread
