End of Term

This morning I went with elder son to the primary school concert, With the crowd of parents there I didn't actually see granddaughter, but it was a a lovely concert - all those lovely treble voices.

After that, son and I went for a coffee (tea for me) and a scone at a local cafe.restaurant/deli. I bought rather a large selection of cheeses. We will say nothing about cholesterol levels here! Later, son, grandson and I went back for lunch - I had stovies (brilliant) and son had venison stew. Afterwards, I had a strawberry ice cream made on the premises, and it was absolutely the best ever.

Tomorrow I take grandson to the bus for BB camp and in the afternoon son and I take granddaughter off for her camp, driving through some lovely Highland scenery (nice to be a passenger so that I can see the views.

Then it is home on Sunday afternoon.

Hmm talking about the natal day that is forthcomming, we wish to send vouchers for the purvayance of tincture of noilly( strictly for medicinal purposes only, was that a bang i hear?) Is there a convenient convenience store for the redeeming of same vouchers?
Many felicitatiions wending their way to you.

How super, but I don't know any store that takes vouchers - a cheque would be much appreciated however!

Elaine, sorry to be dense but what are stovies? I know deep down somewhere in the recesses of my brain (what little is left) that I should know it but for the life of me I can't think.

ps Happy birthday in advance for Tuesday.

Okay, I shall have a think about this one as there are many recipes, but I shall post the one I remember from childhood on my recipe blog in a few days.
