You may remember the sorry tale of my damaged hob and the £250 excess demanded by the Insurance Company.
I had to write the cheque for the whole sum last week...
Got a phone call to say I had omitted to sign the cheque! Was this our old friend Mr Freud at work I ask myself? Anyway I sent the (duly signed) cheque off at the weekend and wondered how long I would have to wait for the money. I could carry this comfortably for a while but in about 6 weeks was going to have a bit of a cash flow problem.
Worry ye not!
The cheque arrived in the post this morning and I have made a special trip to the Bank with it. My Bank balance looks very healthy indeed just now, but I have to return funds to my cash ISA and then it will look its normal self.

All that cash, not to mention all that wonderful food - no wonder the milkman has his eyes on you. What a catch! lol.
Of course, I am quite a catch, so why am I always passed up? ;-)
Perhaps not in the right place at the right time? Forget the blooming scrabble - go for the dance-hall!
Oh dickiebo, what good advice - shame about the 2 left feet! However, all other suggestions welcomed.
