...although I am certainly not a kid (nor male)!
It is continuing to work, although today has been a bit grey, but still warm.
This morning my new bridge partner came to go over some strategy. It is funny that the more you read the more complicated the whole thing sounds! I think the best thing to do is to play on Monday, then have a post mortem later.
This afternoon I went to the lounge to meet some of the ladies for a cup of tea - especially because I wanted to catch the milkman. He is very good with all us old ladies (and some very much older than me). I recently asked if he could deliver organic milk, and he has been doing so for quite some time, however I found that 4 pints a week was far too much, so I asked if I could have just one 2-pint delivery, so we settled on a Tuesday.
I was polite and let a lady who has a lot of difficulty walking go in front of me.
And she repaid me by buying the last of the lemon sole!

Makes me wonder what on earth is going on there, Elaine. I may have to ask tbsitw to pay a spot-check!
Oh dickiebo, you never let me down! I always say I lead a life of blameless virtue, but I don't want anyone else to know that.
A good deed never goes unpunished! Next time, elbow the gimper out of the way and go for the sole!
(Just kidding)

Absolutely Marcheline - in fact I shall endeavour to make it to first in the queue!
Sauve qui peut!
I am sure that the good turn will come back at you... that or there will be fish bones in the sole :0)
If you want a standby milk supply, I keep some tesco long life value skimmed milk.. it doesn't taste like some longlife products so you can take it in tea or use it for cooking with..
Glad you are having such good weather, long may it continue.
I'll check it out, dickiebo, don't you worry!!
Think of the Good Karma you earnt - thats good for your soul is it not? Also, Douglas keeps pints of semi in the freezer so when we get a bit low we get one out and defrost it over night :-)
