Today I have put one tub of soup (ie the vegetables and gravy left over from the silverside I cooked yestereday) into the freezer, I now have one helping of soup for today and plenty cold meat.
I tried to print an updated version of my Outlook calendar to put on my notice board, but the printer would not start.
Fortunately, my cleaner went down on her hands and knees and everything looked okay, but it still would not switch on so she went back and removed and then replaced every connection....
... and it worked.

It's an old IT solution to most problems. If all else fails - switch off, remove power supply from the wall, count to 20 and connect up again. It works too when the digi-box/video/DVD player won't talk to the TV.
God bless your cleaner!
I forget what life was like before computers but when they go down...it feels like such a loss.
I'm glad it's up and running for you Elaine. :)
I use outlook to manage mine and SOH's events for holidays and the like but it is awful when technology lets you down so the back up is a calendar
