Yesterday morning TBSITW loaded her car with all my goods (and goodies) and drove me over (via my house to collect some krispie cookies) to see Best Brother, and extended family, including younger son and his girlfriend (the latter of whom I met for the first time and who seems delightful), daughter and her 8 year old son who is a real California boy. He was having a grand time playing with a Star Wars model (to display my ignorance, it was some sort of a plane.

Shortly after, my dearest daughter arrived too, followed by BB's elder son, his wife and their charming four year old girl as well as their 5 month old son. You forget how much they change in such a short time since their Christening.

We had a feast of soup, sandwiches, chocolate balls and rice krispie cakes.

Champagne was flowing too.

I almost forgot to mention yesterday that I received a present from daughter's two boys - a book called "Balderdash and Piffle".

My regular readers will know that I tend to use some odd words to express crossness, so this book was a real find.

So, home again and TBSITW unloaded the car and helped me (translates as did all the work)sort out everything then she went home for a well earned rest.

I had a quiet evening then off to bed and slept well.
