Yesterday evening I went out to the bridge club again, this time for a teaching session. We are all at different stages of ability, but that can still work. Sometimes if you just keep quiet when the tutor is teaching one of the less able players you can learn something new or something that you had forgotten. It is also helping my partner and me to play as a better team.
Another late night, so I slept in this morning but still managed to get my towels all washed and dried before lunch.
It is another dull day, but not windy judging by the trees opposite.
It must be terrible for the people in the Gulf States with Hurricane Ike making landfall. I understand Galveston is now flooded. It would appear that some 20,000 people did not follow instructions to evacuate and move inland.
