I was lucky enough to see him, and his wife, at a karate demonstration for charity in the 1980's. He was there representing his Hole in the Wall camp for kids.
I love his spirit, and I buy his foods whenever possible because they taste great, and the proceeds go to charity.

Oh, that's sad. I didn't know. His wife will miss him terribly, after a lifetime together.
He did always seem to be a class act (pun not intended!) as well as a wonderful actor.

I didn't realize he was in his 80s. Such a fine actor and decent man and seemed to remove himself from the shallowness of the Hollywood crowd.
I loved his eyes.
Funnily enough, Seaspray, I think he would have hated the comment about his eyes. He wanted to be judged by more than that!
