... otherwise known as the disabled blue badge cars.
I was very tired yesterday after the physiotherapy, so I did not feel at my best at the bridge club. I hate dozing off in my chair as I seem unable to get going again, but I now think I should go to bed for an hour or two, then get up, shower and do my hair before changing to go out.
Anyway I shall be interested to see how we did (mixed fortunes I expect, but not dire.)
Today I got a phone call from G to say I had left my disability card in her car, so she popped by to give it to me, and not only that she threaded a needle for me so I could mend a seam in my pyjamas where the stitching had come apart.
After that I made leek and potato soup, so it has been quite a busy day. (See recipe in Recipes Blog)

No relevance to this post, but I just wondered whether you'd seen this news item and if so what you thought of it?

I feel there's a lot of scope for using technology to improve the lives of the older generation, but I'm not sure quite how practical this would turn out to be!
Very interesting.
Stylish.
A fully qualified and experienced elderly lady said. Could be a godsend after indulging in too many G & Ts
Do you know I heard that story on the way home last night.. whatever next?
Love leek and potato soup, now the nights are getting colder I might have to make some up for me and SOH.
Here's a video of this amazing device.

I'm not sure I'd want one, even at the bargain price of £700, which is what the Daily Mail says it costs.
Maybe I'm just old fashioned. I think I might prefer a Michelin Man suit. BTW, did you all know that the Michelin Man's proper name is Bibendum?
(Sorry to hijack your blog, Elaine, with all this trivia/?fun.)
Oh ha ha ha! I see they didn't dare show te device on someone who might actually benefit from it.....
