Physio-terrorists

This morning I have once again been to my exercise class and they are really putting me through my paces! I can feel almost every muscle crying out for a bit of gentle care and attention.

I decided to spoil myself and went straight away afterwards to the big garden centre for a cheese scone and lemon refresher.

I was disappointed but not surprised to see that quite a large part of the floor area has been set aside with stuff for Christmas. Mind you I can't really complain as I bought quite a lot in the January sale.

Yesterday evening I got a telephone call from my bridge partner and we are going to be big and brave and go to the bridge club tonight. This is excellent news.

Always providing I can stay awake, of course.....

Went to the garden center for a cheese scone, eh?

What, and then off to the bistro to pick up a few gardenias?

Hee hee! 8-)

Oh no, not Christmas already... At least it's not August.

Never got to grips with Bridge, I think that I lack both the necessary attention to detail and killer instinct.

Did the cheese scone have a little mustard if it was Cheddar? Or was it a Wenselydale scone (I was once startled to be given this with blackcurrant jam but surprisingly tasty).

Elaine
exercise, scones, and bridge: sounds like a splendid day.
Next you'll be taking up canoing. :-)

Ah: no mustard, but I could have chosen jam had I wanted to.

Now there's a thought for next time.
