Bridge again

but before that,

I once again went through all the exercises that I do at the class (though not the ones which need equipment).

Then off to bridge, playing with a different partner again. Was somewhat bold with my bidding today (as we were urged to be) but a coded enquiry re the number of aces my partner held elicited a disappointing reply, so we played in game rather than a slam. Turned out I made the correct decision to back off at that point, but it was well worth the try - even if it nearly gave my partner a heart attack!

Again came home in time to join the Scrabble group for a cup of tea and a blether.

Now to make the supper.
