Late yesterday evening I found I had difficulty putting a glass to my mouth (and this made it particularly difficult swallowing pills). The right lateral aspect of my lower lip was numb and felt swollen. In the morning it had spread to my upper lip over and looked very swollen in the mirror.
In fact it looked like a collagen implant gone wrong a la Leslie Ash (and more recently, I understand Nicole Kidman) but in my case at my advanced years collagen would be a complete waste of time and money - so much else would need to be prettied up first!
While having tea and scone at M&S I had to put the food into one side of my mouth, but managed it.
Sadly, here lies no miracle diet cure!
Later in the day I was not entirely cured but much better.
No £500,000 on the NHS for me then.......
