Last night, after I had gone to bed, I realised I had not set the alarm for this morning (I know, but bear with me), so I checked the alarm time and changed it to 8.15am, as I needed to be up in time for my physiotherapy class, after which I was due to go to the hairdresser.
Imagine my horror when I discovered I had slept in till 10.40. I leaped to my feet, knowing that there was no chance of making the class, and that I would have to hurry to make the hairdresser's appointment.
So, I had a shower, and got dressed very quickly.
Then I opened my bedroom curtains.
And wondered about the twilight.
Ah, you're ahead of me here.
It is 23.06.
I need to wait for my hair to dry, but meanwhile I shall set the alarm correctly.
And go back to bed.

Isn't there a touch of "deja vu" about this event? I'm sure I remember this happening before, according to a previus blog. Hope you got back to sleep ok!
Poor you! I have had this same thing happen to me - but usually when I have lain down for a midafternoon nap on a weekend and awoken after dark... it's not a very pleasant sensation, is it?

I managed to get myself all the way into London years ago to begin work @ 9am.....it was actually 4.30am when I arrived....and I had only briefly wondered why the roads were a 'little quiet'en route! I was aged 19! lol....no hope for me now.
