Mouldy Old Dough

My shower had developed quite a lot of mould, mostly on the sealant, but it was also starting to climb the grout. TBSITW gave me a bottle of mould spray with strict instructions that I must not use it myself.

It certainly is powerful stuff, but it has cleared virtually all the mould. I left the light on so that the fan would get rid of the fumes, but I still feel as though my mouth and sinuses are coated with the stuff.

With the mould gone, it has become obvious that the sealant is in very poor condition. This is a very poor show as the shower has not been erected that long. It looks as though it needs stripped out and replaced, and the obvious solution would be to get the plumbers who installed it back to fix it.

This would be fine if it were not for the fact that I would not have them darken my doorstep again.......

This is one of those posts where, if you substituted a few choice words, you would be laughing until you cry.

Go on, try it - read this post and substitute the word "butt" every time you read the word "shower". I dare you.
