It is, of course, lamb mince and that is always rather fatty. I left it to chill overnight and have now scraped off most of the fat. I have added a tin of Baked Beans (second childhood) and, once I have eaten some, I shall put the rest in a bowl to chill thoroughly before removing the rest of the fat. After that, I divide it up into portions and put it in the freezer.
Last night I was greedy (again? - Ed) and had 2 mini strawberry pavlovas. They are hardly worth a post, but I have described how I did it and also added a recipe for Bombe Surprise to my recipe blog. If you remember Diamonds are Forever, the villains gave themselves away by offering a Claret (emphasis on the second syllable) and 007 said "A Claret? With fish?" and immediately grabs the Bombe, pulls one villain's hands down between his legs, attaches the Bombe - which is, of course a bomb and tosses him overboard. He is then followed by the other villain. There then ensues a most satisfying blast!
Today I finally caught up with a very good friend (CW) as I would get her answering machine, then she would get mine. Sadly she does not have anything to do with the Internet - not even email.
I am going to see her for lunch on the 15th after my physiotherapy class. Great!
