That Stepper Again

Today the weather is back to being grey, but still not bad for a spring day. I get so much pleasure from the plants I have planted...

... even although my family and certainly my GP would have been most displeased that I had, once again, put myself in harm's way putting them in. Okay, they would have been right, but I do feel that there is a difference between just being alive and living life to the full...

My 2 cleaning ladies arrived and admired my planting and were made somewhat hungry (as was I) by the smell of baking bread.

This evening I had 3 lamb and mint sausages, from the butcher at the garden centre, with two stalks of white sprouting broccoli and a stalk of leek (chopped) and a carrot and some potato. Really good, but so easy that it was not worth posting to my recipe blog.

I have not been mentioning the stepper., but have been using it since the day it arrived. and am now up to 100 steps a day.

I am hoping that this will eventually improve the development of collateral blood supply to my lower limbs and to improve my muscle development.

Hi Mum

Yes, I worry about you doing the garden - but actually I'd worry more if you gave up trying...

Oh bless you dickiebo - that was good for a laugh out loud when I was feeling a bit sorry for myself after a rather bad night's sleep (always the way after setting the alarm for an early wake-up call)

Douglas and I agree with Elder sons comment..

I was just thinking we would far far rather you enjoyed yourself than sit in a chair wrapped up in cotton wool being miserable!

Life is not worth living if you don't take a few risks?

Ps when does the contest start.. and are you preparing your speech saying your hopes and dreams are for world peace??

Much love from us both.. A&D

Love Dickiebo's comment, so are you practising your speech for what you want as Miss World? keep up the good work (safely) we all worry about you here in cyberspace.

Ah, that speech.

It is usually made by a vacuous blonde.

Okay, I am working on reducing the little grey cells (Noilly Prat, anyone?), and the blonde is dead easy (compliments to my hairdresser).

But the speech....

That requires a lot of thought.

btw, I am a little worried about the swimminhg costume bit.

Many thanks for everyone's comments.
